1. Project Introduction
stUSDT is the first Rebase-based RWA (Real World Asset) platform on the Tron network, allowing users to stake their USDT and earn returns from real-world asset investments. When users stake USDT, they mint stUSDT at a 1:1 ratio. The stUSDT-RWA contract supports 1:1 redemption of stUSDT back into USDT and distributes rewards using the Rebase mechanism. Assets in the stUSDT-RWA contract are invested in short-term government bonds. Wrapped Staked USDT (wstUSDT) is the non-rebase version of stUSDT.
Summary: stUSDT can be seen as the Web3 equivalent of a money market fund, allowing users to stake USDT and earn RWA rewards. Such RWA products bridge traditional fixed-income financial products like bonds with the crypto space, creating a cross-asset gateway between digital and real-world assets. As of now, the total staked amount is $240 million, with 352,000 stakers.
